Serena Wieder, PhD | Clinical Director – Profectum Foundation and Co-creator of the DIR model
PACT training is suitable for professionals (speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, specialist teachers) with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience of working with children who have autism and their families.
Levels 1 & 2
The first level of training, PACT pre-course e-learning, consists of an introductory Powerpoint and 8 videos with tasks to be completed by the trainee. Each trainee receives an answer sheet to compare their answers. The pre-course e-learning takes approximately 6 hours to complete in the trainees own time before they attend the 2 day face to face training.
The second level of training (pre-course 2-day live training and post course work) is suitable for professionals who will implement PACT in clinical practice. This 2-day training is in person on October 25-26, 2018 in New Jersey.
The third level of training will be available online. The PACT professionals lead training (for those who want to become trainers and/or conduct research and establish fidelity), suitable for more experienced professionals involves implementing PACT with more clinical cases and supervising other PACT trainees.
Description and fees are available upon request. Please contact Dr. Serena Wieder at serena.wieder@Profectum.org.
