Continuing Education

A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants via email for each day of attendance. The certificate will note the number of instructional hours for the day in attendance.

Registration opens at 7:45 am. Check-in at the CE registration desk to receive your name badge and day of schedule. Sessions will start promptly at 8:30 am.

Course Completion Requirements: For those learners that have signed up for Continuing Education credit, providers require that you sign in and out at intervals during the day, and submit an evaluation format the end of the day. Please visit the CE registration desk upon arrival.

  • LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, Psychologists: Learner are required to entire the entire day, no partial credit can be awarded.
  • SLPs: Learners are required to submit a ASHA Participant Form by the end of the last day they are attending the Conference. Learners will need to provide their ASHA Account Number or License Number.  For presentations that are CEU approved, learners must attend the presentation for the full scheduled time and sign the attendance sheets. Credit will be awarded for those CEU approved presentations that were attended fully.
  • OTs: For presentations that are CEU approved, learners must attend the presentation for the full scheduled time and sign the attendance sheets. Credit will be awarded for those CEU approved presentations that were attended fully.

LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, Psychologists

This conference is sponsored by Policy and Training Institute (formerly know as the Early Intervention Training Institute) at the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic. Call the Policy and Training Institute at 323-373-2400 if you have any CE questions regarding Psychologists, LMFT, LCSW, LEP, LPCC continued education.

This program meets the requirements for up to 9.50 hours of continuing education (5 hours on Friday, March 31, 2017; 4.50 hours on Saturday, April 1, 2017;) for licensed Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. The Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The course meets the above hours of continuing education credits for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. It is the licensee’s responsibility to retain this Certificate of Attendance for a period of four years after the course date.
