Nancy Massey is the Co-Director/Co-Owner of Team Autism Memphis (TAM) and Owner/Director of Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic(GSLLC). Nancy received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology form the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is certified by ASHA and licensed by the State of Tennessee. Nancy has extensive clinical experience in the areas of language/auditory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). Nancy developed a passion for the DIR model of treatment after taking an online course presented by Dr. Stanley Greenspan in 2010. She made a decision to pursue further study and received the Professional Level 1 Certificate(CL1) in December of 2016. Nancy is also a PROMPT Certified Clinician and holds certifications from Hanen. Team Autism Memphis(TAM) was founded by Heidi Joyce and Nancy Massey in 2016. TAM’s mission is to provide a family-based, comprehensive approach to meet the unique needs of each child/family. TAM’s treatment approach is heavily influenced by the DIR model. Our therapists receive on-going training and mentoring from Profectum faculty to continue to expand their knowledge base and clinical expertise.
