I am a social worker and special educator specializing in working with children birth- 10 years old with developmental differences, particularly those coping with feelings of anxiety and stress. I believe the connection between emotions and our body cannot be separated and I strive to keep this at the forefront when providing support to children with sensory differences. One of the main goals in my work is to strengthen the parent-child dyad’s communicative capacities, as this relationship impacts all others for the child. I maintain a strengths-based approach in treatment and work collaboratively with caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for their child.
